Stephen Jones has spent the bulk of his fashion career designing hats. His work spans multiple genres including wedding, nightclub and couture items for pop icons including Boy George of the band Culture Club. The design at left could be described as a frazzled mortuary wreath, appropriately set on the wan complexioned androgynous youth. Just as death marks the end of gender, Jones' funereal design lacks gender specificity.
